Arqray Single Tip BEST SOUND IN THE WORLD!!

I have not heard a better sound since the last time I heard a 360 modena with a larani exhaust system.

The sound of the arqray single tip cannot be beat. It has brought new life back to the exige. I love it. I will post instal pics and sound clips tomorrow.

I will be making a sticker for the others in the club.

Stig now I know what you have been talking about.

Why this one as opposed to say . . . a 2bular of the same style?

I put mine on about 3 weeks ago and also absolutely love it. Even my wife who hated taking the Elise out with me now looks forward to going in it. Sound changes the entire experience of driving the car.

Sorry but you can't compare the two as far as quality or sound, the only thing in common is the look/style. The quality speaks for itself, if you've ever seen an Arqray muffler in person you'll know what I am talking about. As far as sound, i've never heard an exhaust note quite like the Single tip sound. I love it, but some don't... The 2bular system sounds... well, very normal (generic) in comparison.

... Add a de-cat pipe and you won't believe your ears!

Neil

Neil,

the decat pipe, does it make it sound raspy?

the decat pipe w/ resonator, does it still increas the volume of exhaust note?

Thanks

Both pipes increase the sound, but the de-cat pipe (without resonator) is one notch louder than the silenced... ok, maybe 2 or 3 notches louder

And I found both pipes make the exhaust note deeper.

Neil,
Do you get any Cels with the de-cat pipe? I live in Florida, and everything is open game over here .

With the single tip, do you still run the pipe through the bottom of the diffuser? If so, at what diameter? Or, do remove the mesh above the diffuser?

I'd like to hear that next to my set-up (1st gen QS + Larini decat). They sound pretty close. Now that I took my rear panel off, wish I had the Arqray single tip for aesthetic reasons. I think I miss the sound of my Elise as much as anything else during this long cold snap here.

Yes, with the de-cat pipe you will get a Cel (engine light)... remember it's for track use only
