Here's what I'll do instead. Any forum member wanna be kind enough to ship me 2 exhaust clamps from them? If so, here is how we'll work.

- US forum member order 3 exhaust clamps from link above.
- Clamps delivered to local US forum member address.
- US forum member re-ships to me using USPS EMI.
- I reimburse US forum member via PayPal for (1) US delivery/handling charge of $9.75 (2) USPS EMI shipping charge to me (3) PayPal % cost.

US forum member who helps me will get 1 free exhaust clamp in return. Interested? Drop me a PM.

Hi Noel,
Here's a simpler solution.

Summit Racing's store is 15 minutes from me. I'll pick up as many clamps as you need, mail them to you and you pay me for the clamps and shipping.

I can ship UPS or any other way you want. Where exactly are you located?

Let me know, be glad to help you.

Regards,
Wayne

I'm guessing this is what happens when the clamp is re-used? Took off the diffuser and noticed this. It is located immediately beneath the clamp so I can only assume some exhaust is exiting at the joint. It's an 05 with a CLF Stage II that was installed by previous owner.

I guess this is something I probably shouldn't ignore...

Group Buy (Kinda) on clamps

I have gotten several PMs asking me to pick up these SuperTrapp clamps from them. Mostly from overseas.

No problem getting them for anybody. I already shipped Noel 5 clamps to Australia and I'm sending more to Singapore.

If anyone wants some of these, let me know as I'm going to pick up more over the weekend.

They are from Summit Racing, Part # SUP-094-2500. Stainless Steel T-clamp with nylon locknut. $10.88 each + tax.

Link to listing: SuperTrapp 094-2500 - SuperTrapp T-Bolt Exhaust Clamps - summitracing.com

Here's a pic.

Wayne

m4mica: mine had a similar look a while back. If you look at the exhaust pipe, it may be slipping. The soot is from a long groove in one of the pipes that may be exposed, so only a little hole exists.

I took some pictures a while back. First I noticed this:

Then I took off the defuser and saw this... sorry a little blurry

Obviously the exhaust had slid over some and could have come loose at any moment. The clamp was not wrapped around both of the pipes, only the exhaust

thanks for the pic. I think that's exactly where mine's heading, but I may have caught it sooner. I didn't see the obvious gap, but did notice on the hangars that I see some very 'fresh' looking metal exposed as if the hangers had slid towards the passenger side by about 1/4". Given that the OE bracket is not supposed to be re-used AND does not provide a snug fit I'm thinking that it's beginning to separate. Going to order a new clamp tomorrow.

Also, does anyone have any idea what the 'Pre-Track Use Check List, LSL520' is that was referenced in the TSB. Seems like it's probably a good document to have.
Thanks again.
