Has anyone put on a ported stock header?

If so, did you notice any increase in power? You didn't happen to do a before and after dyno? Just curious, as I read a thread saying you would gain 5 - 10 hp and not have to have it tuned.

If you install it after your supercharged engine has been tuned, you might want to be careful. FI engines aren't as forgiving about AFR as NA engines, especially when you get to the kind of power the VF2 has.

I read in that Ported Header post that a tune was not needed on it. But since my car will have a VF stage II, I was not sure if it would increase my hp or harm my engine (or possibly both).

Better ask Jermaine or Charlie. I'm pretty sure you'll get more hp, but the AFR might also lean out. They could certainly retune to account for that.
