How is the Larini 'S' Clubsport Muffler?

For those of you that installed the Larini 'S' Clubsport Muffler, how are you finding the install going, sound note, review, etc.? Also, noticed that the sector111 site has had them out of stock for sometime so not sure what's cooking with that...

Customers who have installed them have been very happy.

We have a small batch in transit from Larini now. We've been out of stock as customer demand outstripped our initial stock - we did not predict demand very accurately. Typically we like to maintain stock of all products.

Give us a call to discuss.

I was looking into this exhaust at one point, but got impatient and went with the larini 6" Club Sport. I hear that the Club Sport "S" sounds similar. If that is true, I can vouch that the exhaust note is beautiful! It is very deep and mature in the lower revs, and really comes alive and is inspiring in the second cam. It's loud, and has very minor drone, but NOTHING like the Stage II. In fact, I held a conference call this morning on my way in to the office, and folks on the other end had no issues hearing me, nor me hearing them.

Of course, the new Blackberry Bold has excellent noise cancellation and I use a 2-piece stereo style headset...

What I like the most is the look with the Sector 111 eliminator, and the more than 24lbs I shed making the switch from stock and losing all of the heat shield.

Cool, (frostylocks) I read your write up but didnt see anything on actual install. Im guessing you take the bottom tray off, unhook a few exhaust bolts and pop the new one in and re-attached everything.

i sat back in the lawnchair and heckled my husband and drank beer while i watched him install it.

i didn't touch it, besides helping him hold the new one up to connect it.

i just drive the car.

Well if you need help on the install I would be happy to help you out. It would be a good time to do an oil change too.

as long as you help me out with my future bwr SC install.

Just got it today. I will un-box it after work and take a look at it. I believe its in two pieces as you need to attach the tip section to the rest of the exhaust.

I got the Larini sport exhaust installed last Friday. I love it. It's so loud though. I was out for a drive Sat night and I felt like it may have been grabbing more attention than needed. My husband heard me coming up the street from our bedroom which is in the back of our house. He said he wasn't sure if it was me or an airplane. lol

Friday night I made him drive it up and down the street a few times so I could hear it from outside the car. I had to film it of course. It's a little grainy because I used our camera. We'll definitely be doing a re-shoot soon.

It's amusing that the only Larini muffler at Sector 111 that looks like two separate mufflers inline is described as having a "discrete" look...

I could not tell from the video but is that an SC Elise? Also, did you two do the install or did you take it somewhere to get installed? Just seeing if any tricks were learned in the process.

It looks similar to stock when installed since it has an oval tip. This is discrete in our book. Of course if you open up the rear panel than it will be on display. No question is has way more bling factor than the stock can! The sound is far from discrete!
