As for me, while I love the way the Larini sounds, I'm sufficiently fed up that I'm getting a 2bular.
they newer ones have the tips/pipe welded, all one piece exhaust for the euro tips.

2bular is the best

Couple new shots, got the interior squared away with harness bar, harnesses and painted a/c surround. Also straightened exhaust out a bit.

I am in the process of installing an SE on my Elise. Its the newer one-piece tip model and it has been really great to get all this advise. Using the stock clamp makes a lot of sense considering how much larger and robust it is over the Larini-provided model. I hope this does it, although drilling and adding a simple set screw seems a good final solution as well.

I love the sound. To me, its "throatierererer", and yet no much louder at all under normal driving. Get a bit aggressive, a wow. Overall, I love it. The look, the sound, its great.

Thanks for all the input from everyone.

I'd honestly consider the the set screw idea, in retrospect I'd do that and the bigger clamp as well.

I wish I knew, it came with it and I really like it. I've seen it on a few cars now.

My car came with this exhaust and I have 3 problems that I'd (finally) like to address:

1) The typical sagging of the tips (anyone know off the top of their head what the clamp size is?)

2) The tips aren't centered correctly (ie the tips aren't in identical spot in the openings of the grill)

3) The right tip is further in than the left (it's like the exhaust needs to be pulled forward on the left, or the right pushed in). Is there a way to adjust how the exhaust sits in the hanger?

Thanks for the compliments guys! I love how it sounds, I figure eventually I'll just wake up one day and it will be perfectly centered thanks to the inherent work of the exhaust maneuvering gnomes.

I'm bringing this thread back from the dead as I had a few spot welds done on the Larini...FINALLY this thing stays put and is dead center.

Is there an alternative to the Euro grills? I love the dual exhaust, but not the look of the grills. Is cutting the existing grills and trimming out the holes for aesthetics a viable option?

Did you go with euro grills or just going to open it up in the back?

I have a Borla on order, but seriously considering just selling it and going with Larini SE + euro grills. Damn toys...
