Question Larini Sports Exhaust- Does diffuser hole need to be cut larger for tips like Stage 2

I know the Stage 2 exhaust requires the hole to be enlarged for the tips to fit. Is this the same for the Larini sports exhaust? Will I have to cut the opening larger ('05 Elise)?

Much better for aero if the exhaust exits above the diffuser and you close the hole in the diffuser. Depends on if you are interested in speed on track, or looking like you care about speed, or keeping it "pretty" for the street. I also like the idea of rear panel delete as it makes inspection of connections in the exhaust system easier. Especially like to be able to check the clamp between cat and muffler as have been known to fail, with dire consequences.

I had the early Larini on my car with the exhaust through the diffuser. did not have to make the hole larger. i did have to slightly push the two pipes together when putting the diffuser back on.

I have now moved to to the exhaust out the rear panel. Back then you could change the tips...either for exit below or out the back. I had the both tips...still do.

Hopefully the newer Larini's will fit the same and not need any modifications to the diffuser. Mine is being delivered today, so I just wanted to know what I had in store for tonight when I put it on.
