Dave,

Yours will ship this week. We've only got one left. Next batch is due in about a 3 weeks.

Cheers,
Shinoo

Keep in mind the only video where I was actually cruising was the one where I passed the car. After passing I dropped it into 6th. Most of the time I was in 3rd gear and driving hard. It's really deceiving to hear the sound because it appears much louder than what you actually hear in the car. Imagine putting your ear to the floor and that's more like the sound the microphone is picking up.

Thanks Dan! That's what I was looking for! It sounds more raspy and deep than any S2000 exhaust I've heard, almost
Ferrari-esque. I like it. Do you think it would be too much for a six hour drive to the race track?

I think it of it as kinda Ferrari-esque also. I thought Dan's videos captured what I think mine sounds like.

I don't think it is too much for a long drive, because in 6th gear, it is quiet.

Trust me, it's raspier than that audio clip. Unfortunately what wasn't captured was the cool popping and badabing bing bing as you decelerate a lot without downshifting. It sounds like a friggin race car!

The burbling is absolutely great! I ran through the gears until I was at the very top of 4th (wide open highway/2 mile visibility) and just lifted off the throttle and let the engine slow me down in 4th. At around 4K rpms it started burbling so I pressed a little on the throttle and the burble just kept on burbling. I had a Corrado Vr6 years ago with lots of work (genie header, test pipe, Supersprint exhaust) and it would do the same thing, but much more extreme. Is there an explanation for this? Is it the air/fuel mixture at say 3%-5% throttle? Anyway, as far as I'm concerned this is the perfect exhaust and my hats off to Shinoo and anyone else who designed it. Now, I can't wait for the intake. I've decided to keep this car n/a so it looks like the little improvements will be the way to open the car up to a little more power while I get to know it's limits. (On track/autocross)

Good eye Stan but while we are on the subject...

Can you find the black dog that almost got hit in QS2?

With the motorcycle that came into my lane at the Dragon's Tail on video and now a close call with a dog at 80mph (you see the dog but trust me, it was close) I think I'm going to start a thread called, "close calls."

You got it. With the wide angle camera it's hard to see that he was in the road prior to being able to see him in the video. He seemed to be heading in the right direction so I didn't exactly slow down for him. Good dog!

ChaseCam of course! It's a very simple setup as I can see the view by simply reversing the cameras lcd. If I want to switch to the camera's view it takes about 5 seconds.

Since I can get this information much more painfully through Randy, can you tell me how much the whole setup cost, including install if you didn't do it yourself? Thanks Dan. I would love to analyze autoX runs using it.

Great stuff, shades of "Rendezvous" (um, without the boulevards of Paris, the buses, trash trucks, red lights, Place de la Concorde, Sacre Coeur (sp?), but still...
