Exxxige, can you explain what you mean?

How did you fix it?

Something in the steering wheel that can be done at home.

I would like to try this.

Thanks for the help.

I'm not sure I have the same snap off steering wheel (eliseparts one). I put bits of duct tape in the spaces between the holes, then put the wheel back on and it was a tighter fit. It was just a temporary measure until I paint the inside of the holes but it worked so well I just left it.

I had it with my second set of Advans. I just had them rebalanced during a pre-track inspection. They were only off by a very little margin but still within industry standard according to the shop tech. He said he did not know if it would help. I did it get the car up to 80 or so on the highway and it seem to be better. Need to do it again to verify. They seem to be that sensitive.

Never had a serious problem until this weekend on my Elise. Suddenly, I've got BAD vibration at 110mph building up from abuot 75mph. I balanced the fronts at the track and it helped a bit. Still felt it all day, but didn't effect the handling in the turns. I'll have the rears rebalanced. I'm also ready for new tires so I'll repost afterwards. Hope it stops the problem. I have heard that out of round LSS wheels and A048's are not uncommon. It's just strange that it's doing this all the sudden without any changes to the car recently.

Mine was very shaking over 60-70 Mph. At my first inspection, they re-balanced the wheels. Since then, it is solid as a rock!!!
