Yes, both forms of F/I rolled into one.

Wow that fuel pump is f-ing loud!

Well, add the cost of a SC to the cost of a turbo kit, and there you have it. You'll also need a damn good tune.

At that point I would be more worried about the Lotus drivetrain with shearing teeth off gears and snapping axels.

Or, folks that know the potential of these cars and are willing to do what it takes to solve the problems of weight and lack of power. Drive one of these cars that is 20% lighter or one with 2x the power (or one that has both) and it will be clear why this sort of thing is done.

Love them both but personally would rather have the Exige without the weight and lack of power-better aero potential, roof etc. But, you make a very good point that the cost can be ridiculous. Not familiar with the WCM version of the 7-looks good. devil's advocate is often the best approach as it prevents funding a learning curve!

Have you followed the progression of that car?

I believe he had some trouble with the first one, and put on a different supercharger. After a while of that he went to a turbocharged set up. And then after that he went to the compound set up, along the way flaring out the rear wheel areas and doing some body work. Someone would have to back me up on this progression, but that's basically what I remember.

Don't forget the multiple water to air intercooler varients and the six (including one in his trunk) radiators. Also has a 153 custom matted tranny after exploding the stock one. The $100 k was more from trial and error to find out what works while pushing the envelope. Something most of us can't or won't do. His failures and successes have brought a lot of innovation into our community that wouldn't otherwise be here.

They are 60mm Reverie flares on the back, blended into the original Exige clam.
