Exige 260 Cup colour
A very special hello to all of you
![]() My name is Paolo and I live in Italy,I've recently decided to buy an Exige cup 260 2009 model but would you believe it I cannot choose the colour I would have liked it in graphite grey but someone put me off it saying that it would look bad with the carbon fibre plus I have never seen a photo in such colour,if anyone has or could do me a quick photoshop job I would be really grateful that would be a big help plus any suggestions![]() Please help! Thanks |

Graphite is a good low-key choice - meaning it won't stick out like a sore thumb and be kind of a sleeper. Other than the mohawk and other carbon bits, the gray will blend well and will incorporate the gray wheels good.

I totally agree. I have Storm Titanium (lighter than Graphite; sort of a blend of silver and grey) and the carbon fibre parts look great.
I think Graphite and Carbon Fibre would look really good. Kev

I have had 2 Storm Titanium Exiges before my 260 Sport and, although I love Storm Titanium, I thnk it would be too many colors with the gray wheels, black/carbon pieces and yellow logod decal. At least the black wheels on the N/A Exige and S 220 & 240 the black went with other trim. The gray wheels on the 260 do not go with anything else unless you have a graphite grey car - then at least it blends.

I have a graphite grey exige and a couple carbon parts (not on the car). But I can assure you Graphite and carbon go very well together. You will not be disappointed.

Also a welcome from my side
![]() My Name is Chris and I'm from Switzerland. The Exige is my Dream Car since years, and finally my dream is comming reality... Like Paolo, I'm also going to buy a cup 260 and I'm also not sure about the color. My favorite color at the moment is Aspen White, like this one: Exige Cup 260 Aspen White I also would be glad, if someone could post pictures of other colors. It's hard to imagine, how the cup 260 looks like (because of the CF). Thanks in advance ![]() |

The pics that Joseph posted look like Graphite Gray to me. Here are pics of my car (a graphite gray '08 S240) - New to LotusTalk, Future Exige S owner

Paulo,
When u get a graphite or titanium colour with carbon applications u should understand that the carbon will blend in! That means, bypassers will not notice the whole package at once they need to look twice, so u will have the so-called "Understatement" ![]() If you want your car to stand out AT ONCE, u have to get a flashy color, like isotope green, solar yellow, chrom orange, red, etc . . . A comparison between flashy and sleeper ![]() ![]() ![]() However, the choice NOW is individually YOURS, are you a stand out or a hide in? ![]() Greetz, Joseph Last edited by carreracaballo : 05-25-2009 at 03:04 AM. |
