Those are dealer installed upgrades. When I asked the parts department at BMCD in SF about those the guy working behind the counter called someone to find out how much they were. He asked the guy on the other end of the line "...is that for one or the set?". After he hung up he looked at me and said "They're $1,800.... [long pause]... each." I just laughed and said "No thanks". I just couldn't imagine spending $8,000, after tax and installation, on a set of rims for a car that costs $64,000. That's 12% of the price of the car!

Mmm, that can't be right. I think someone made a mistake there.

yeah i concur. So do the black rims not come stock? on an Exige?

Sorry... I was talking about the 6 spoke silver/gray rims that are on the Exige in the pic that you posted the other day, not the black LSS rims. The 6 spoke rims don't come stock and are $1,800 each.

Those are volks ( JDM ) wheels. And they are not $1800 a piece.

Yeah, There more like $2400 for the whole set including the optional center caps.

We had an e320 Mercedes do the exact same thing right in front of while my wife was driving me down to pick up the Mustang this morning. And yes, there was a wall on this particular road for the Mercedes driver to hit. She did some cosmetic damage to the car but got herself turned around and just drove off. Then we drove 200 yards up the road and around the next bend some blinged-out Chevy SUV was crushed on the other (downhill) side of the road. The kid standing there talking to the cops didn't look very happy...

First rain of the season...
