I just thought I'd jump in here. I know everyday someone new, smarter and more experienced joins the forum and that person may have the ability, money, and luck to pull off the K20 conversion. To them I wish them more luck.
That said, I've been close to an attempt or two. Given the shape of the compartment and the shape of the engine there are a couple of compromises you will need to get comfortable with. You might send Exigeme a PM (if he still hangs out here) and get his thoughts. He started the project and, the last time I checked, had made it a long way before stopping. I think the most difficult part of this is dealing with Third parties to have one off items built to spec. Exigeme is a very skilled wrench and fabricator and still found it necessary to have a few thing done outside of his shop. I hope that was helpful. Good luck again on this adventure and do keep us posted. I think there is some pent up demand here. |
