Exige Supercharger kit

HI there, I have recently purchased a 2006 exige, however would like to supercharge it. and would like to purchase a genuine kit for it.
I am in Australia and unfortunitly there are a few if any lotus parts service providers.
Can anyone point me in the right direction?
Thanks

Welcome to the forum Bash.

You'll likely hear/read a bunch of comments shortly on the search function. Be ready.

Your question is common and the good news there are several options from around the world. You should look into:

1) Blackwatchracing.com
2) Sector111.com

There is also a Bemani supercharger which is considerably more expensive on the Super Charger side of things. You may also be interested in the VF Engineering kit that is coming on the market currently.

You may want to look at Forcedfed.com as well. They offer several turbo charger systems that do not have the lag issues that many other systems have.

I personally see it as my solumn duty to inform you that it is a far more effective use of your funds to spend some time on the track with the car before adding much power to it. Decent driving skills in this car can have you chasing down cars with over three times the power. And getting the point by from a 700 hp 911 turbo, while you are driving a 190hp Exige is a wonderful thing. Not to mention, the skill you gain can easily jump from car to car.

Best of luck in your search.

Hi Bash

What end of Oz? In Perth one of the locals fitted a BWR supercharger himself, in Sydney and Melbourne there are more choices! Get onto Aussie Elises and introduce yourself - much local support there.

Cheers,
Steve

Simply Sports Cars in Balmain, Sydney have installed many Lotus supercharger kits on Exiges.

The principal, Lee Knappett is away for the next 2 weeks but talk to Stuart Mak there.
