Going to look at an Exige today. Problems/issues to look for?

Im going to look at and possibly buy an Exige today. Are there any common problems or issues (especially serious ones) that are common to Exiges?
Any good way to check if the car is straight and unwrecked considering the undertray?
The seller has been very forthcoming (and the carfax is clean) so I dont foresee any problems, but I just want to cover all the bases for a large purchase like this.

thanks!
Evan

You should also check out the latest issue of EVO magazine (issue #125). They have an 'Exige used car buyers guide' write-up that was pretty interesting. Basically the article listed no major areas of concern other then normal wear and tear and the high cost of replacement body panels. The article also mentioned that a damaged chassis tub cannot be repaired, it must be replaced so keep an eye out for botched repair jobs. G/L!

Biggest problem: After you take a test drive your wallet will get a lot lighter.

Does it feel like it's pulling to the left or right when you drive it? When you brake? It shouldn't.

How are the tires? New A048's cost $1000 for 4.

Is there a wheel lug remover in the tool kit along with a tow hook for the front? You need the tow hook to get your car onto a flatbed tow truck if it breaks.

Windshield wiper blade any good?

Engine temperature holding solid under 200 degrees?

No fiberglass cracks anywhere? Likethe trunk?

Battery ok?

Good luck!
