whats the point other than weight savings? I always kind of liked being able to see the engine bay from inside the cabin..

Weight savings... heat & sound barrier, too.

Personally, the glass was annoying too... always dirty and served no function.

I'm considering "lending" a pneumatic windshield removal tool (with a deposit) so that people can do this modification themselves. It would work something like this: post a deposit via Paypal, pay for shipping and you can use the tool for a week, then on to the next person... eventually back to me.

Yes, they are an in-stock item now.

Please refer to the other thread for details. Here is a window installed with the supplemental intercooler ducting shown partially installed.
