How much to put 400 horse power engine in lotus Exige S240

Hey guys im gonna turn 18 and im curious how would it cost to put a 400 horse power engine lotus. I know its fast already but i want faster aceleration and top speed. Also what can i put in the engine so it sounds loud. Thanks guys and could you tell me how much i would be paying for car insurance. Can you guys also tell me how much racing tires would cost extra.Thanks in advance guys.

Its called power to weight ratio.

Why do you want an Exige if 240 HP isn't enough for you?

most people are doing this to make these slow cars faster.... Reconfiguring engine position (180 degrees) to increase torque (pics)

Especially given that raw speed is not the major selling point of the Exige, performance-wise.

I'm going to answer your question even though I don't think it's a serious one considering your age. ForcedFed charged about $35-$40K for their 380 setup which can handle 400 crank hp with a bit more boost. Given that they are no longer around, add another $15K for R&D and new fabrication costs.

Then guys in this price range what kind of car do you recomend for me if im going for raw speed and looks and horse power. Besides the dodge viper and chevy corvette.
