Mine is zip tied to the front grill. I have been monitoring temps since i put it there, but I don't see an increase at all. I don't want anything tacky sticking out infront of the front spoiler. The police here are very strict about front plates, which is the only reason i went out of my way to put it on. Any car meets/events I go to, and I take it off for that day.

Here's how I mounted my front plate without drilling into the clam. I threw this together out of some aluminum scraps I had, using epoxy and pop rivets. Hey, if it works for Lotus...
I hope to modify it so it can be quickly disconnected by just popping out two spring pins. It ain't pretty but it works.
