Latest 08 exige news.....
Pics later.....
After this weekends open day at hethal...couldn't help notice all the 08 exige's fully spec'd in production and finished ready to head off to the States!!!!!!! Why we didn't see any of these on our last factory visit a few weeks ago is beyond me. Lots of pics of a very nice saff yellow heading to Atlanta i'll post up asap. All the new colours on display....some good....some not..  No elise with s/c's though........nothing. All the fed exige's fully loaded...240 hp,cup roof,big ap brakes,twin oil coolers,variable t/c ect ect ect........ Had lots of time to choose my own 08 colour....  ..which i'll order over the next few days....as its the slow time of the year for lotus my 08 could be delivered to my local dealer in a few weeks if not sooner if i required....now that would be punishment having the car and waiting til 08 to register it.......  The staff at hethel were the best.......  ..... Guess 1000's of pics of the weekend must be all over the net...as everybody was snappy happy...  couple of pics of the new esprit too or at least what looked like one....

No disrespect meant to The Exige. Every Lotus is a beautiful thing. But, that being said, I don't like the back of the Exige as much as my Elise. I feel the Elise is more of an artistic statement v the rear grill on the Exige being for packaging reasons. I have my boy racer wing on my STi, but don't like the looks on the Exige. Are they avoiding the SC in the Elise due to packaging concerns? If packaging is a problem, why don't they just go the turbo route and duct the intercooler on the right sidevents.
