I notice the entire wing is painted on the 08. Supports included, as opposed to just the wing on the 07's. Small but another change... I want one.
Cheers,
Skottoman

Thanks for the pictures. Explains why dealers have been having a fire sale recently.

Looks like they changed the offset on the front wheels as well, since the original "sport" wheels did not clear the "big brake" kit.

On the other hand, perhaps they changed the adapter kit/bracket for the big brake kit so the original wheels will fit now.... ???

Because my dealer also had no 08 info is the reason i went direct to the factory to spec my own 08 although i did have a couple of e-mails from lotus.............most of the cars in production were the 08 models....
behind the scenes i saw one of each new colour.....
the hard part is which colour

Also which tryes.....if you like yoko's buy them.......keep them in your garage....
because of the tyre problem i'm hoping i can have the new bridgestone's or the eagle's
guess lotus will offer other tyre choices in due time....

Why we didn't see any of these on our last factory visit a few weeks ago is beyond me.
Lots of pics of a very nice saff yellow heading to Atlanta i'll post up asap.
All the new colours on display....some good....some not..
No elise with s/c's though........nothing.
All the fed exige's fully loaded...240 hp,cup roof,big ap brakes,twin oil coolers,variable t/c ect ect ect........
Had lots of time to choose my own 08 colour......which i'll order over the next few days....as its the slow time of the year for lotus my 08 could be delivered to my local dealer in a few weeks if not sooner if i required....
now that would be punishment having the car and waiting til 08 to register it.......
The staff at hethel were the best............

Guess 1000's of pics of the weekend must be all over the net...as everybody was snappy happy...couple of pics of the new esprit too or at least what looked like one....
Nice work steve!!!

you mean the super performance pack (or whatever) is STANDARD on US cars???? DAMN!!

some of those new colors look great. TVR colors!

that's where i have to agree. If all are standard and $70k MSRP...I would be out. So for me it's better this way to buy pieces separately.

either way can't wait to see it even though i have one in my garage!

What is sitting in the seat photograghed above, it looks like a carrying case for something?

Also, the next person that goes to the factory, look at the inlet tract for the intercooler and see if they have made any changes to eliminate the restriction above the roof bar.

Thanks,

ken
