Need your thoughts on ECU dump

Not too familiar with ECU scan reading... This is for 2008 Exige S 240 with 1800 or so miles. Is there anything on here that I should be worrying about?? Experts please chime in on this as I'm about to close the deal. TIA

8800rpm does seem a bit high, but if the car has not been tracked, I imagine that's just the rev limiter, and not from downshifts/missed gears.

Oh... I thought that was the maximum RPM for the car and not the actual data logged for this vehicle. What is the actual redline?

So those max rpm's do look high, when my first ECU dump was done at the first service mine was showing similar and I picked the car up with 8 delivery miles on the clock.

That said, with the fastest 0-60 of 25sec and a throttle never over 80% it looks ok to me.

YMMV I'm no expert though...

No. There's no standing start data, also its debatable if anyones warrantee has actually been voided for standing starts - I've never heard of a case. If someone has please post a link.

hmmm..that's very odd considering you've only had 8 delivery miles on a new car. maybe I'm not interpreting this data correctly???

OP, Everything looks fine and if you're purchasing from a reputable Lotus dealer, there should be no cause for concern.

I've only seen one ECU dump with a 0-60 that wasn't 25sec.

and never seen one that showed more than 80% throttle.

Just as a FYI.

Even mine, which was tracked, showed no time above 80% throttle... so consider 80% the same as 100%, in most cases.

The ECU dump I had done last week shows 3'3"47.0s for 80-100% throttle.

I wonder why the 0-60 speeds are always 25s. ECU recording error?

Disclaimer: I am not an expert. Isn't 8500 the redline on a 240 Exige?

Somebody had 20 or so minutes of high revving fun at the 16 hour mark which is at about 400 miles.

I wouldn't count on warranty if there is an out.

Did I mention I was not an expert?
