If someone does some test fitting on an Elise, please include the diffusor... I'd be interested in pricing on the diffusor alone... looks fantastic. Any emperical data on aero affects of the diffusor? Should I expect similar affects to the now-discontinued Reverie 5 element?

Much of the same from me.

The wing i dont like, im thinking the main reason for this is because its high but not as wide as the car. In most cases with large wings, the wing extends the width of the car. Im not sure.

As for the diffuser. I LOVE IT! Patiently waiting for the price. May i suggest keeping it low. You will sell more that way

Now the sideskirts. I'd like to see more pics. detail pics and different full view angles. Maybe underside pic so we can see how they are mounted. Same suggestion on the price for these as well

I'm already cringing thinking about the first time you close the Exige's rear hatch and those end plates smack into the rear clam, foam padding or not.

Diffuser looks really cool. Is there any advantage, from a down-force standpoint, to the extra fins or is it for the looks?

I'll need some time to answer all of this but here's a first attempt:

1) Prototype Composites is in Glendale, WI (NE side of Milwaukee).

2) The mesh rear panel is aluminum screen from Auto Zone, (yes it's the exact same stuff that Lotus uses), trimmed to size and powder coated black. Yes, that's an extraordinarily sweet lead. You're all welcome. Send food.

3) Single story end plates: Absolutely. I can make them out of the same mold and trim them to size.

4) When I get the car back, I'll get some more pics up of the side skirts. These pics are what the owner gave me, and often I don't get much time with the car.

5) No canards. I still perceive them as synonymous prevarications......I love that movie! Anyone catch the reference?

6) End plates smacking the rear clam: We've done it countless times during fit-up with no marks whatsoever. Don't know what else to say about that one...

Also, when you run the numbers on the rear wing will you be able to run them separate and together with the new diffuser? I'd like to know what each piece contributes to the over L/D numbers as well as how well they interact with each other.

Not a fan of that wing at all, diffuser is definitely cool,

That can't be good for the clam when closing the rear lid with those deck supports can it?

Can you just make a copy of the stock wing in the magnificent carbon fiber finishes you guys are known for?

I'm not liking the look of the two story wing although I admire the fact that you guys are thinking outside the box.

Any photos of the carbon fiber side intake pods? Are they available now? If so how much? Also are there different varients of the front splitter? Due to clearance issues I need something similar to stock. Let me know because I am very very interested and I am looking to pick up at least the side pods soon.

Keep up the good work.

Am I the only one who finds the wing elegant and beautiful? The only change I'd make is trimming the side pieces about an inch, but if it's functional, it's functional.

So would the wind be compatible with an Elise? I mean, how would the different angle of the Elise's engine cover compared to the slope of the Exige's hatch affect the functionality of the wing?

Again, love the wing. I'd own one if it's compatible with an Elise.

I like the look, very racy. I think that if the whole ensemble was the width of the rear (although that would be pointless considering this is an add-on to the stocker) it would look ridiculously amazing in a DTM wild winged creation way.

i saw the car in person today.....
it is amazing, and on top of it the owner acctually stood on the front splitter scared the crap out of me. i have had the opportunity to meet mike, the guy making the bits, and he is the oppitemy?(spelling) of perfectionist, not to mention cool as hell, a true car geek as we all are. these pieces are TOP OF THE LINE!!! and beautiful...my favorite were the side skirts. they litterally made me feel funny, like when we climb the rope in gym class.

just my opinion

That is the best selling point to me; that I know Composites' parts are top notch and he prides himself on only selling high quality parts. Nothing could be more reassuring

I see this like I see the Porsche GT3 wing: wacky, but cool!

I would like to see info on the effects of the diffuser and chin splitter alone.
I recall some chat on another thread suggesting that a slightly lowered car with a well functioning chin splitter and diffuser will produce more, better, or better balanced downforce with less drag than the addition of a wing (with or w/o diffuser and splitter).

How is the chin splitter attached to the car? And how far does it stick out (compromising ground clearance)?

Not only clearance, but a longer splitter also changes the rake angle and other aero characteristics that make a front splitter functional. This stuff is more complicated than just making a CF panel and bolting it on hoping for the best.
