new to Lotus.....so please pardon if the questions seem basic-not looking for criticism only basic information.

having sold the muscle (cobra) we are down to 1 car a weekend-sunshine warrior and are looking at Lotus as dd. Have driven....exceptional-love the small Toyota powerplant.

-can I please understand what is difference between Exige - Elise

-are there any cross border guys out there that can explain why as a Canadian I cannot import a late model Amer. car into Canada (as I can with virtually every other import)?
I have reviewed the Cdn side car in Vanc and late model car in Seattle....looks identical, identical specs.

As a dd, I'd imagine the Elise is better because you can see out your r/v mirror (Exige has the sloped back where the supercharger intake blocks your view...unless you have an '06 n/a)
