Mine has some glue that doesn't seem to be holding.

I think I am loosing some air that should be going to the supercharger because the seal isn't good.

I'm surprised this was the best Lotus could come up with.

If I recall correctly, the E46 M3's w/ SMG had a launch control option as well. Similarly to the Lotus, BMW warned that use of this option would void warranty. Anyways, when reading about this a few years ago, it was brought to my attention that in the US, a manufacturer can not void a warranty for an owner using the vehicle in a way that it was capable from the factory. In other words, they could void warranties for this overseas, but not here. It was for this reason that BMW did not include instructions for launch control in any of their US models. The cars were, however, still capable. Maybe the same for Lotus?

My E60 M5 has launch control... no instructions for use are in the owner's manual... someone posted a letter from BMW USA with instructions on how to use it. First, it only became active after 1200 miles on the odometer (I verified that). Second, the launch control rev limiter is set to 1800 RPM for US versions, 4400 RPM for Euro versions... specifically for warranty purposes...

i dont think i have this foam, roofs come on and off several times already.

Note on the suspension dampness setting, don't crank it up too high until the shocks are broken in, in the beginning. Don't have # of miles but think you'll be safe after engine break in period.

wheels dont need to come off if you can get to the rings. but tires off is good idea, before you start playing with this because you'll want to use a measuring tape to be more exact, otherwise end up running in circles cos 4 sides are different. helpful to mark on the damper the original setting position so easier to go back if needed. I don't have these dampers but they should have 2 rings, and there would be 2 corresponding adjustment tools, make sure they are tightened opposite lock after adjustment.

congrats on aquisition, this is a great car.
