But seriously, is the rear clam carbon?!?!?

^^^ Not the Clam, but the engine bonnet is solid CF and the complete roof section...in fact, the roof is so cool it has no interior headliner ! The underside of it is just raw CF ! Plus,The quality of the carbon fiber body pieces, painted and then clearcoated over where you see the stripes for example is every bit as good quality as any Lamborghini or Ferrari we sell !

Some one should snap this thing up...They ( Lotus ) won't be tuning the trusty 1.8 up to 260 HP again I am told by my rep !

Adrian.

The New Lotus Exige S - 2010 Model Year » Lotus
Just not with all the carbon fiber pieces?

Adrian.
That is because the internals don't appreciate excessive force feeding.
I suspect the 260 is really 220whp. Heat soak still a problem with the bottleneck...when will Lotus realize the cool factor of a roof scoop is not
reallt that cool

Please remove the armourall and the clown make-up and it would be perfect!

Lotus,

Please don't jump the shark.

I didn't take many interior shots myself, but here are a few. The alcantara and carbon combo is just awesome.

Love the interior, hate the external decals. Heat gun would be out an hour after delivery.
