it's still in concept though, that's not the final front end design.

Okay. Dumb question here. But what does GT3 stand for? I figure the GT was for Grand Turismo? But what about the 3? See, I thought GT2 and GT3 were exclusively Porsche's designation for their track oriented cars.

GT1, GT2 and GT3 are road racing classes. IN some cases these require the manufacturers to also build and sell a (limited) number of road going versions to get the cars homolgated for racing use.

There's also the original GT1 Elise from a few years back and there's a GT1 Esprit as well.

This GT3 Exige is based on the cars that compete in the GT3 championship.

I still think it has way too much rear bodywork compared to the size of the rear wheels. Makes it look like a poorly designed kit car.

it's concept. i dont think they've decided on the wheels yet. they've got quite a few more months of getting feedback for the final production design.

The front end needs to be more aggressive. Too smiley for my taste. What are the black oval like things on it? Quick release clam? That would be sweet.

I agree the front end looks wrong. Right now the car looks like it belongs in the Pixar movie "Cars".

the car was just on the track at brands hatch. however, it is apparently not going to be coming to los angeles as it is now on it's way to amsterdam.
