Re the emissions fails, unless they're running tests with the throttle over 68% opened ( ie floored), its no different from stock, so it'll pass.

you can have switchable maps, you just need something to switch too

This is more the real reason to me because it must be the same tune... I dont think any developpement has been needed for the S240 Tune. But I may be wrong.Only Charlie knows.

i just saw that someone revived this old thread yesterday, so i'll add my 2 pence:

Tune is totally reliable as far as my car goes although I do notice that she uses more oil than before. Also, I dont track this car at all.

Not much?! That's a lot just for tuning the stock system. If you put a high flow air filter or a cup box with high flow filter (green or K&N) you'll probably be near 30hp. The car is much faster with the retune. I was at 220 and got to 265 as the name suggests.

I don't know how much more gain with injectors and fuel pump, but you'd get another 20-25 with headers and decat PLUS retune. I was around +260whp with headers, sport cat, exhaust, cup box, RLS intercooler. I'm getting retune with decat next week so I may expect to see another 8-10 hp.

Hi everyone,
out of curious, how much will it cost for the dyno tune usually ?
I just want to see if I should get the standard reflash now or save up for future after I purchase a header & cat and then get dyno tune.

haha! I have a new exhaust on the car which is more quiet with the decat than the old one + the stock cat. I did actually drive with the old exhaust AND the decat for a week or 2. Ask Blake how it sounded!
