Wouldnt it be easier and cheaper to run puller fans on the back on the IC to achieve the same effect. You could also run a spray mist on the front of the IC inside the duct. Its shrouded from heat. The guys down here in Australia are supposedly having good results with the mist sprays on the IC.

Yep, I run a secondary very small nozzle from the water/methanol injection system externally onto the front side of the intercooler with positive results.

Puller fans will help when your car is at low speed, like in street traffic.

The intercooler itself is still the heart of the results. An intercooler that flows better allows the supercharger to run without as much parasitic loss, flows more cfm for better power, has more mass to absorb transient temperature spikes, and has more surface area to dissipate heat. Combine that with the things that you mention, and it improves the efficiency even further.

Then the inside will have enough thickness, and we can have someone make the bracket + all the electric relay in HK for the dual fans.

Good idea, I can put it in afterward.

I just want to have a more stock looking. But how often you need to wash the intercooler?

This is our point, to low down the heat as much as possible without going into WTA intercooler.

After received the RLS cooler + modified funnel, then we can measure the AL heat shield plate size.

Once everyhting is ready, then we can have:
- RLS cooler in dual tone (for show off only)
- Modified funnel to house 2 push fans with relay + 2 LEDs (for slow traffic in HK, monitoring the status of the fans and show off)
- Heat shield plate between the cooler and engine block & charger (for heat shield and gold plated for show off)
- H20 injection, its really nice, but I am afraid I need to clean the cooler from time to time (correct me if I am wrong) + need to refill the water bottom all the time (unless the spray is programable and have sensor).

Then I need to skip burgers to lighten up all the weight that add on this cart.

I think Thomasio actually sells a misting kit as well. if the mist is fine enough I cant imagine it will make that much of a mess requiring a lot of cleaning.
Im not sure how the cabon shroud is attached to the intercooler but if it bonded in place the modification looks pretty easy to do if you are set on having pusher fans rather than pullers.

Thomasio how is your spray controller working by boost or inlet temps. Do you constantly monitor inlet and outlet temps in your car with a gauge in the cockpit?

This looks like a great bit of kit Thomasio

So Thomasio, this may become a whole basic kit (with form, function and most important the look ):
- Modified funnel for housing 2 pusher fans + relay & status LEDs
- Gold plated or Gold foiled heat shield on the bottom (what we have in our mind is going to do it in 2 parts heat shields in HK. The first thicker part is in between the cooler and engine, the 2nd thinner part is bolt on the first part for easy oil change and also can channel the heat from bottom out)
- Water misting simply version with temp control relay + water bottle, target to the left hand side of the cooler.

For premium kit, it includes the RLS cooler.

We have been doing a lot of custom colors lately... red, blue, gold... if you have a specific color in mind, PM me and I will see if it can be done.

These intercoolers are works of art!

I've been talking about the heatshield too. Maybe this is something RLS can release. Not sure where I can fabricate something like this. Plus for unrelated use, I bought heatsheild tape. Very nice stuff. I could tape that to the bottom of the heatshield as well.
