1.5mm thick carbon fiber. Front side is gloss finish, back side is peel ply finish.

Back side is peel ply finish. Double sided gloss is an option, but I prefer them as you see them.

Surely a naysayer will step forward?

Fine, I'll be THAT guy.

They look good, but at $200 a set, I'll pass.

Are they the same shape as the prototype on your car?
The rear portion on your car seems to angle in, where as the photo of the ones available seem more square?

I like them a lot, I'd say if they were glossy on both sides, and a bit less $ I'd be interested.
Cheers,
Skottoman

Same parts, photo was taken at an angle.

I'll see about double gloss.

if you throw in some solid platinum mounting screws I'm game
on a serious note, for an item of that size using carbon fiber over say fiberglass isnt gonna give you much of an advantage and its hard to justify paying that much

I think the wingtips overpower the stock wing because of the stock wing's lack of width. Just my opinion, but a cool product nonetheless.

Off topic, how about a CF fuel door/cover?

Thomasio-

It's nice to know this forum values your time/R&D effort at about 30 cents an hour. Cost of materials, well that must obviously be free right?

Well, not the whole forum thankfully... just the vocal naysayers.

Cue voice of Charlton Heston:
"And there came, from the East, a naysayer with exceptional abilities..."

I'm pretty sure I spent at least $0.30 of gas filming...

This is not scientific, meant for discussion purposes only. Keep an eye on the airflow at near the tip of the wing (the furthest row of string).

Air flow - great, I don't care, I think they are just cool looking!!! And $200, that is less than a dealer oil change so that should be okay with everyone!
