That's funny, I just searched their site to find out if I could buy the wing
I did see the rear diffuser there somewhere though. Keep looking I guess I will use the pictures to have my fab guys build one for me as well as that front splitter extension with vertical support struts. I will do my struts in black anodise though front and rear. |

If you guys are wanting specific parts from the RS track car you have to contact Red directly, E-mail seems to work best, they have been very helpful with the pieces we are getting for our Exiges that were on the comp car but not for sale on the site. Not telling what we got though
, you will have to wait for the pics.....![]() |

decent wieght for that size. you want that big of a contact patch?
I'd think that lighter wieght at each wheel is more important than bigger patch but then i don't know all the variables you are changing. laters |

Their 18x9s RED-DSC Light Race wheel (pictured) weighs 21.4 lbs, whereas an 18x8 OZ Superleggera weighs 18.5 lbs. OZ discontinued the Superleggera a while back, but now has the Ultraleggera which has a sharper design and weighs 18.4 lbs for the same size. Which would you chose? The RED set or the cheaper, lighter, more-widely-carried, race-proven, friggin' gorgeous OZ wheel? |

Seems like unnecessary pressure/intimidation. As in, "OMG you dont want wheels that weight 2 lbs each? GTFO" .02 |

You completely don't understand what I'm saying.

I am not putting on any wheels on any car so there is nothing that I could possibly rethink. I'm telling them that they chose the wrong 18 inch wheel. There's no 'I' in this situation. I'm suggesting they choose a different brand of 18 inch wheel which would save them weight and money and give them reliability and piece of mind of a superior wheel brand. |

oh, ok i got ya.Ya the wheels look nice. I though you were gonna put bigger tires and wheels on your car. my bad. I think its interesting that some people don't understand the effects of changing the contact patch size. THis car for example. if you put 18s all around you drastically change the balance of the car in turns. in this case, all else being equal, they probably introduced more over steer. But perhaps that is better suited to the drivers style. Top Gear did a good show on this a while back with another elise model. Host whats his name had loads of understeer while the Lotus Chassis Designer dude could wipe her back end out like a leash in Indiana Jones' hands. Then he said, if your style and abilities don't suit the smaller fronts then we'll give you bigger ones. laters, Trevor |

Good episode (was it the 111S?). He was frustrated how the car lost its oversteer because of the drop in wheel size, but in the hand sof the chassis engineer it was a walk in the park. Then Clarkson could only insult Norfolk...
