Removing Exige Roof
The weather was perfect today... 75 no humidity and clear sun...I looked at the roof and said this is the day to run the car topless..
Looked at the manual, looked at the roof and said why not. I was a bit nervous about all I read about leakage and problems and how important it was to not take the roof off...and how the water could egress into the fiberglass.. Ridiculous.. the top came off easily where it attaches, is nicely finished and it has changed the character of the car completely..You dont need two peole to lift it off it is so light, you just have to be gentle with it.. Since I really dont use the car except for nice days I think I will leave it off for a while before I put it back on..Again, I am so glad I did take it off |
