Roof Scoop
i bought my 07 exige s used, and i've been wondering about the roof scoop. i've looked at a bunch of pictures on here and it appears that there is supposed to be a screen in the scoop...but mine doesn't have one.
is there supposed to be a screen there? any ideas on where to get one (besides the obvious...the dealer)? thanks... |

Mine does not. I thought the 07 Exige does not have one while the 06 does but that scope is not functional on the 06.

2006 Exige does have a plate that covers the roof scoop opening
2007 Exige S does not have a plate or screen covering the roof scoop opening. The scoop does have an extension (a few inches) to direct airflow. 2007 Exige Cup with extended roof scoop to the windshield does not have a screen or plate of any kind. 2008 Exige Club Racer - has same as 2007 S 2008 Exige S 240 with extended roof scoop to the windshield - initial cars in US did not have a screen however that changed to a screen held in by two screws - held in by two tabs added in the scoop. 2009 Exige S 240 and Sport 260's - same as above except all cars have the screen.
