I believe the track pack includes a Lotus version of the brace, but from what I've read it's not as robust as the RTD variant. I'm sure someone will chime in with a more technical explanation, or point out if I'm wrong

It does have a brace and the only difference is that it's not anchored in the middle near the engine mount - it just links the two rear suspension mounting points together. This is standard on the 211 and works with slicks so I don't think it's worth swapping out.

Lotus is quite aware of the oil starvation problem... their solution is to install an Accusump on all their dedicated track cars.

Most of us who track our cars go with a baffled oil pan.

True, but it's not a safety/reliability issue, just a performance issue...

You should be fine with the factory brace. Check the stock rod ends as they do become loose over time - but they usually cover them under warranty.

Our baffled oil pan is almost ready for release. You'll also want to check out our new Catch Cans. Easy install and removal when you need to drain 'em. Both will be ready by Thanksgiving.

Fuel starvation can covered by either keeping the tank fairly full or our V2tank. The V2tank has been run down - in race conditions - to 1 gallon of fuel with safe fuel pressures. We have the data to prove it.

I'd go with Sector111 RTD over the factory one. I saw a 2Eleven last week with a broken one, guess what he replaced it with? Sector111

When it spontaneously breaks be prepared to replace a lot more parts,(half shafts, rear clam to name a few). You'll have no idea when it is going to happen, it just goes.....
