Test drive in a Aspen White Exige - Sacramento Lotus - LotusTalk

I have my Exige on order at Sacramento Lotus scheduled to arrive any day now. I made an impromptu trip to Sacramento today for a business meeting and decieded to give my salesman Mike Cook a call to see if he was working today so I could meet him in person. When I talked to him he asked if I wanted to drive the White Exige he has in the showroom. Well, I didn't want to be rude and decline so he said that he would have it all ready when I came into town. I arrived at the dealership and Mike had the Exige all warmed up and ready to go, first he and I want for a drive then we came back to the dealership and I took my girlfriend out for a drive. I had a very good experience taking her out and discussing the car with her in private without a salesman in the boot. What can I say that hasn't been said already on this forum...I love the car, she loves the car, the group of girls we drove by at the mall loved the car... It's everything I thought it would be I just can't wait until mine arrives and I get her on the track. Seeing Aspen White looks much better in person than in pictures, I thought it looked too much like a storm trooper but not so much in real life. I was hesitant ordering Phantom Black because it gets dirty so quickly, now I kinda wish I went with the Aspen White...

Sacramento Lotus has been top notch up to this point, they have opened up their new building for Lotus' and they have a nice inventory of cars now. Here's a couple of pics of the Exige:

Nice, I (as you can tell) love the white as well. The phantom black they had in the show room did look good too.

Congrats. Glad to hear your girlfriend loved the car; that's always important. It's good to see more exiges coming into N.CA. Mine should be here in ~3 weeks.

truth be told if i ever get an exige (although...that will only happen if I find I am gods gift to Auto-X lol) then no other color jumps and screams ME ME ME! like the AW...

the elise screamed KG to me...but exige just wants to be the other end of teh spectrum, clean and classy not loud and obnoxious LOL

What amazes me is that they have had the car on the floor for sale going on 2 months!!!! The car is really pretty. The car would look much better without black wheels though.

That one's been at the dealership for a while...

...and the dealership's always been very, VERY kind to my wife and I. My 7500-mile service didn't go exactly as planned, but since then, I brought it back and they've done everything I needed them to do. They've offered (and I've accepted!) loaner cars, and were more than happy to have me check out that Exige, knowing full well I wasn't interested in buying it.

Overall, they're really good. I've never enjoyed going to a dealership before I'd been there...

Congrats on your Exige order! Get it broken in - I'll have a drive scheduled for mid-May you'll want to have it for!

This was a new one not a demo, I didn't push the engine hard but I still really enjoyed taking her out.
