One thing you might consider (and something I'm surprised we don't see regularly on ET) is to negotiate the sale of the car without mods, but offer a discount to the buyer of the car on the cost of each individual mod he or she wants to add on (discounted from the going rates for those used parts). The discount would reflect the convenience to you for not having to remove, sell and ship the components. This makes your car attractive to more buyers, who may or may not want upgraded suspension or whatever.
