What is factory fill oil for S240?

I am a new owner of 08 Exige S240. I was wondering which oil comes in the car from factory. Which oil weight and brand do I use to top it off if I need to before first service? If it doesn't come with synthetic, is it good idea to change over to full synthetic at first service around 600-1000 miles? Is it better to wait 3-4K miles before changing to full synthetic when piston rings are more fully seated?

From the manual:

Quote:
For topping up purposes during the running-in period prior to the First After Sales Service, a top quality mineral or semi-syn- thetic 5W/40 oil should be used. At the First After Sales Service and completion of the running-in period, a fully synthetic 5W/40 oil such as Texaco Havoline Synthetic should be used.

Actually I read that before posting. I am having trouble finding 5W-40 in regular or a blend. I found it in full synthetic. I checked my local pep boys, autozone, walmart. Only found the full synthetic.

How much are you topping up? For a small (or possibly even half quart) synthetic should do fine (especially if it's close to the 1,000 mile checkup/oilchange). If isn't the first 200 or less, keep searching - otherwise, the closer to 1,000 the less it will matter.

Keep in mind that you have about 8 quarts of regular oil in there not (engine and oil cooling system) - a small proportion of synthetic isn't going to matter.

try s111 they have Motul and that is what I have been using in my 05 or you can go to Napa and get LubroMoly (German made oil) for about 40$ for a 5qt can.
