anyone compare an S and tri-point dyno?

I'd like to see dynos for an S and a non-intercooled tri-point car. I guess I am most curious about the torque curves and the different cam switchovers points. has anyone compared this yet?

Where did Charlie's dyno come from? I didn't think he had his S yet? Or is it one off that U.K. site where they massage the numbers?

Can't be faster than something from the Lotus Gods.

Awww... POOR you... I'd *much* rather be stuck in California with a Lotus with broken air conditioning, than to be *here* in Wisconsin where it has been *below zero* for about *ten days* in a row, with my car sitting on jackstands waiting for *spring* to arrive!

I propose the following rule: if you live in California, you aren't allowed to complain unless it is REALLY something serious!

But seriously, I miss surfing and I'm just jealous!

Thomas

Exclamation Dyno

Different brand dynos will even give you uncomparrable numbers I have seen test results from multiple dyno mfgrs on same car on same day. Also we need to know what if any correction factors are being used and what gear the pulls were done in.

Thomas, I feel your pain I’m form Milwaukee. out here in Santa Barbara if it gets below 50 or above 75 it's a weather emergency. you only have about 3 to 4 weeks and the roads will be dry .hang in there you do have one of the best tracks Road America to look forward to. carl

Hey - it WAS raining today

I wouldn't complain, it's just that I finally got the car back last night after it was in the shop for over 1 week for service and a couple of warranty issues and now I already had to return it. Add to that that I had an appointment to replace my tires today which I had to cancel. Still doesn't beat your situation but it does suck
