I believe my team is beyond that point. I will correct this post if I am wrong. I am doing this on a "turbo only" system basis (exhaust manifold, turbo, intercooler with fans, injectors, piggyback controller with basic map - user tuneable, fuel resivour tank, turbo cooling parts, brackets, hoses & heat sheilding/air ducting, connection to stock cat) No clutch, Quaiffe diff., exhaust, oil pan/baffale, ect. My car will get or already has these items, but many of you also have some or all of these "extras". Options can always be added. Why pay for something you may already have?
Cheers . . .

"Hope" was miss typed. "Nope" was the intended word & early was referring to the morning. As far as the Hass referance. . . I have no time for fools, pay 13k then. Let it also be known, here & now that I am personally involved in this kit/installiation on a daily basis. Many of you might also know me from my Esprit V8 that was insane fast (You can look at my new Esprit build at the following link.) But this elise will be done correctly - If it fails, I will be the first one to say so!

Sorry for the poke in the ribs with the Hass reference. If you pull off what you claim I'll be the first to say it was misplaced. But you should be aware of why some people are going to be skeptical.

Hass started out with similar claims and his end product sucked. Plus he screwed some forum members. Not saying it's necessarily right for any of us to jump to conclusions about your claims just because they sound similar to his, but if you find yourself battling skepticism, that's why.

No problem. That is why it is going on MY car & I drive it hard a lot. One thing I hate is people that do others wrong! I will not just post some dyno chart then try to sell something (I am doing this for myself, not to sell it) I just figured why not offer it if it works. Once its done, I will proudly offer many peolpe a ride and go to many a track. Too many bad "tuners" out there & I have unfortunately met many of them along the way, Hence my involvement at every step. No offence taken People should be informed (you just taught me who this "Hass" was) I never even heard of that case.

Thumbs up

Just a little update. The exhaust manifold is finished (complete with coatings inside & out) It will reduce heat and help speed spool up significantly. The turbo and down pipe are finished and coated as well (they look very, very beautiful in the quality of workmanship)
The intercooler is a Bell, custom made with a pressure drop of just 3%. Nearly all other parts are ready to go. Expect a finished car in 2 to 3 weeks. . .

Update. Small parts issue (took longer than expected) & we had a staffing issue that slowed progress a bit. All the parts are in, including the intercooler and ready for install. Installation will begain Monday morning (that is when my car comes appart) Expect 1 1/2 weeks for actual labor time then 1 more week to tune. . .

It is going by the left vent where your standard airbox is.

Way too long for an update! Computer issues, Lotuson74 died. I am now Lotuson74-2. Thing are comming along very good, a bit slow but being carefull. The exact turbo used is a GT28/60RS Virtually all plumbing is complete, just finalizing some bracketry for a quality appearance & function. It is looking as if the ECU issue will be done using a Hydra standalone unit (we are in those consultations at this time)
We still need to do some ducting work to improve the airflow to the intercooler. Hopefully I can attach 4 photos to this post for you (never tried it before) We also expect to fire it up for the first time by this Monday.

Log Manifold, Internal Wastegate, stock internals, and a standalone that isn't proven... I'm looking forward to seeing 300rwhp from this... but at least you are definitely trying, I give you props for that.

Internals should hold up fine if fuel delivery is adequate.

Do to how hard I run the car, 300 might be a bit too high for longevity. I will go in steps. Whatever the final number is settled on - it will be an animal :-)
Also check out: evanscoolant.com. My car will be running this product & so should all boosted Elises. Give me your opinions. . .

I'm a believer in distilled water with water wetter... and a very low amount of coolant. That should provide enough cooling. Good, at least you will have fun. Turbo is great..

I wouldn't let you put that manifold on my elise if you paid me. I'm not hatin. I love what you are doing. I am obligated however to not blow smoke up your ass. You'd have to do something about that mani before I'd consider commiting to that system.

Since this is going on a stock motor particularly an NA ...it's just that the boost #'s seem to be climbing as the thread progresses <scary> melted stuff??

Cool break those eggs make that omelet!
someone has to have the balls.

Oh and WHO DIED????????? I certainly hope I read that wrong.

check out ronin 4.5 turbo on monkey.
that's a bad mofo You know he broke some eggs.
I don't think he's done yet.

Start jacking an engine like that and a catastrophic failure is imminent.
I love it. Someday my motor will be in a basket too.
