first test dyno, Frank's Elige (built motor)

This roughly translates to around 330 or so crank (!) - can't wait to see what happens when they get the ecu dialed in.

Forget HP! You're at 85% of max torque at 2900 rpm. If you can keep the tires hooked up, you're going to fly!

Interesting graphs - can you tell us more about the engine?

Think of it this way instead... The new engine is just starting at this point where as the stock block was already at it's hairy edge.

With the built block it will produce more power at the same PSI without even trying hard and will have much better reliability.

It looks very good, but the torque is still way off from my Forcedfed Race 340 with the EFI stand-alone. I am at 220 wtorque on 91 octane and 260 wtorque on 101 octane. The FF Race 380 is making 300 w torque and can do even more.

If you want a real punch in the back and a strong torque wave, then you will need to hit mid 200 values for torque in the lower parts of the power band.

Come drive my torque monster, it no longer matters if a 225 lb guy is sitting in the passenger side, it still hauls @$$.

That's just freakin' nuts. You gotta have mad skillz to control that much HP in a car this light. Gotta be wicked fun, though.
