Production for the intercooler setup is very very near. I can probably have a few ready to roll within two weeks or so.

The heat exchanger is mounted in front of the fans. It uses an existant bolt hole, but you will use a bigger one for the mount. you do not have to disassemble the radiator/AC condensor to install. a big plus.

Nice work on the exhaust. Looks very clean

Best,

The test car has one of Charlies flashes. we may look into a smaller pulley upgrade now that we have the intake temperatures in order.

Reggie,

Frank has a really cool setup- no doubt about it-, but he's also got more radiator surface than a Mac truck. He's even got a radiator in his boot. As I count (and I could be off a bit), he's got 4 radiators up front where three are used for charge cooling and 1 for cooling the engine, and 2 in the rear where one is used for charge cooling and the other is for oil cooling. This is just waaaaaay more than what *most* are willing to do...

Mase mentioned that he's trying to get performance increase without canibalizing the car much, if at all, which is the same goal that I, and I think most, are after.

Mase's solution seems really similar to Pro Alloy's setup that Sector111 carries. I know as well or better than most how much effort it takes to make a quality part and I'm excited to see another guy/company making some quality parts if that's what they turn out to be... I don't think you can even remotely compare Frank's setup to anything in this thread. Right, wrong, or indifferent...

To that end, it would be nice to see some of that before and after data before anyone gets too carried away...

Cheers,

Phil

"The heat exchanger is mounted in front of the fans. It uses an existant bolt hole, but you will use a bigger one for the mount. you do not have to disassemble the radiator/AC condensor to install. a big plus."

But is it stacked against the other two heat exchangers? (with the chargecooler rad. on the bottom, AC in the middle, and the radiator on top).

No its not stacked. If we stacked them we would have had to disassemble the entire radiator/ac condensor system. as well as move fans. My heat exchanger mounts through the main air flow inlet. When i get back home (traveling as we speak) I will post a picture of how it is mounted.

Pics would be great. I want to see how it mounts without blocking airflow to the radiator.

This seems promising and economically sound compared to others. I would like to see more test results before I include myself into a group buy.

Hopefully we can keep our existing intercooler pipes the same length and attach it with the water to air intercooler your offering.

I'm daydreaming about replacing the intercooler on my Exige S with this and then replacing the blower with the twin screw one from that other thread. Can you say rock-steady 325 hp!!!
