I like the discrete location.
Interested to know how much install time goes with this and if it is a do it yourself project or better to have Mase install due to difficultly.

Just looked at the pic. It looks to me as though it mounts below the AC condenser and radiator. So the air flow must first pass through the heat exchanger before it reaches the other two, correct?

Sorry, searched but couldn't find a recent thread about a twin screw supercharger. You're not talking about the Workspower unit from last summer that Ronin got burned with, are you? Can you post a link?

How are the coolant temps? They tend to get pretty high already with nothing impeding the airflow from the stock radiator in stop and go traffic.

On the track this past weekend at Road Atlanta, the coolant temps never went over 187 F. again this vehicle we are using has an upgraded radiator. the ambient temps were also cool compared to usual summer heat.

I had a few clients at the Chin event at Road Atlanta this past weekend. They reported it rained every day so I would be skeptical about the data.
What do you mean uprated radiator? The ProAlloy street style (2 or 3 pass with a high fin count) or a race style (thicker, less fin count for aero)?

would like more clarity/ detail as to how the heatexchanger is mounted so as not to impeade the flow af air to the AC condenser and the engine radiator. This has been the weak link in the Pro Alloy set up for those of us in warmer climes. By the time the slowed down and preheated air gets to the engine radiator it cannot cool the motor enough. Particularly at high RPM/ high load track use and in slow stop and go traffic.

FYI, I'm using the heatexchanger provided by ProAlloy with the kit (believe its a two pass) and a new three pass radiator they sent over for the motor.

Red face

I'm getting antsy, when is this going to be released with all the test being completed so it can be illustrated on this forum? I want to see the performance chart once all the test has been conducted.

I'm losing my patience, I'm sure for those of us who actually been wanting a water to air intercooler solution, its driving us nuts.

Hey Andy-

No need to wait...call Reggie at Tripoint and he can do exactly what he did on Frank's car then my car. Use your oil coolers as the heat exchanger, make a new oil cooler in the back - no need to warm your air into the radiator, just use the oil coolers as the heat exchangers.

peter are you using only the oil coolers? If so how is that working out? I believe you use the same temp gauge for your pre and post temps as me so you are monitoring it.

It was always meant to just be a test, to only use the two oil coolers and then see if I really needed to add the third radiator like Frank did, but I never needed to the system works very well. I am going to BW this weekend I will take a peak intake temp reading - the weather is colder but usually on track the post SC temps are high 180's to 230+ and post intercooler is around 80-95+ (depends on ambient). Cruising around on the streets the intercooler takes out about 30-40 degrees, and on highway anywhere from 50-80 depending on boost. I notice on the MP62 even a light roll on throttle temps pick up post SC very quickly, but cool down immediately once off throttle...and the intercooler takes out most the heat anyways. Again, I will try and take exact readings -

That was at Streets couple weeks ago, but it was also 40 degrees out...I never have the switch on the post intercooler temp just usually look at the delta, which on hindsight I should leave it at post intercooler. I doubt I am under 100 on a hot 105 degree BW day in the summer as it can't get below ambient, but it's not far from it - and yeah I am interested (in whatever you are cooking up) lol

Unless Mase post something soon, this will quickly become ancient history.
