Does anybody have "long term experience" with the REV300 kit on stock internals ( i have an uprated oil pump and uprated clutch)? When installed and how many miles done. Any issues ? Did a search but canīt read all the 102 pages
![]() Ordered my kit, car is used mostly for road use but also a few track days a year. Thanks Alex

I've been running mine for about a year and a half now. It's in every way better than stock - smoother, faster, better sounding, even gets great mileage still. I temporarily have the stock exhaust on it, so it's fairly quiet - supercharger whine is quite noticeable under acceleration, but pleasant to my ear anyhow. I have made no other engine modifications or transmission mods.

ChronosWS and I installed our Rev300 kits at the same time, so I've been running mine as a daily driver for just as long. I'll echo his experience. Smooth and fast. I've got the BOE Silent Touch exhaust and the note at idle is not that much louder than stock, but once you wind it up, it sounds throaty and mature with no drone. I love it.

I have a friend over who has run the Rev 400 on stock internals that was holding up fine until last track day when he lost a piston ring land. I could not believe how long it lasted with the way he was able to push it on the track. I have a video that shows he had an over rev to 9300 rpm a few months ago. So I think that with the less stress of the Rev 300 it should be a lot safer.

i'm running the Rev400 on stock internals - 8000 miles since install - just put the car away for the winter....can't wait for spring...making 336hp.
BTW - the REV 300 is the same sc as the REV400, just no intercooler plumbing hooked up. All you have to do to upgrade to the 400 is install the cooling loop on your 300 and retune maybe. So you have an upgrade path too. My stock Elise on the BOE dyno pre mod.. baseline

336.4 bhp - 292 whp Here is the final dyno at BOE - ( My stock Elise on the BOE dyno pre mod.. baseline ) Pretty sure I can bring that up another bit with the decat, better manifold (this is on a factory cat & mani, will pass emissions!) and smaller pulley. Frostycomer has already done this and is making tons of power. Like tons more than 336 hp. But honestly, for the street, 292 whp is more than adequate. Power to pass is online now

Just finished the holiday project installing the REV 300/surge tank in my home garage - learned lots about the car in the process. Car starts up and idles better than stock and is very fast! Thanks to Phil and Andrew for all the support and for making great go fast parts! Can't wait for the next auto-x.

Phil,
Isn't there some sort of break-in procedure to follow when replacing the cam? Cheers, Quote:
