Woohoo, finally you TVS guys post some video Many thanks Jim! Can't believe how quiet that TVS is -- you can actually hear the exhaust.

You'll gain 10 mph on the straight if you remove the wiper blade

Someone posted on one of my youtube videos "Doesn't that supercharger spool piss you off after a while" -- heh -- yet another reason to get a TVS.

Love Sebring, thanks again for posting.

Rob

Doesn't piss me off, but even at only 9 psi all I can hear is the MP62 screaming for mercy. I would much rather hear the exhaust.

Just received my TVS kit today

Tx Phil,

All I can say is wow!!! I'm blown away by the quality of workmanship. Even the packaging was over the top. I just pulled out all the pieces and went through the inventory. I plan to spend some time with the instructions before I jump in. I can't get over all the thought that went into the surge tank solution. I'll have to post a pic of the FPR, it is a piece of art.

Awesome! Glad to see see that the fedex guy didn't drop kit it to your door!LOL...

I think you'll find the whole kit come together pretty seamlessly. I'm just short of always available over the phone and email, so please don't hesitate to call if you need any help. There are several folks on LT that have become quite proficient with the EFI and the TVS installation as well in case I get hit by a buss

TVS is still pretty loud. Can hear the whining quite easily. Maybe not as loud as the MP62, but it's definitely audible.

It's no less than half as loud. If that really. Jim has zero sound dampening his car so it may seem to make more noise than normal. The blower is a comparative mute to the m62. That's a bit good and bad, IMO

I was wondering who did the install on their own? I'd like to hear and tips or anticipated challenges. I plan to install an ACT XTSS, Fidanza flywheel, and Innovative engine mounts at the same time as the TVS. Just wondering what to tackle first. I don't plan to remove the clam but I do have a lift in my garage.

I probably missed it somewhere, but which TVS blower are you using for this kit? Is it the R660, R900, or R1050?

Darksol is letting us down on this one!

He's supposed to call me before he heads out to the strip. His light weight beastie and drag racing skill will probably smoke me, but would still be fun to go play

I think I'll be lucky to hit 117mph... I won't be surprised if Dave sees 120+... The trick is do you raise the rev limiter to 9,000 (just that one time) and do the run in 4th or do you shift to 5th late in the run with a safer RPM limit... That shift to 5th will probably cost a tenth or so and some MPH for sure

11.8
11.6 - perfect launch
11.4 - with ice bags on intake/SC -- holding 4th gear at 9K rpm

Doesn't Speed TV have some show where 3 people have to guess the ET? Maybe we can get Dave on that show? I used to race Karts with a couple of guys that got on Pinks show.

Rob
