I do think frank will be very forthright if this is a sucsess or not. i admire him for trying something new with the car.

while i only have had an "internet meeting" with frank, one thing I know is that there is NO WAY he is building a dyno queen. if this works, which i think it will if frank is involved in it, it will be driven as it was meant to be, and most likely scare the crap out of anyone who is in the car.

No rules have changed, except for requiring commercial entities to be paid sponsors prior to advertising.

EDIT: It seems later in the thread, after more tuning, MWR was able to spool over 20 psi at 4,000 rpm with the bigger turbo, and it being in a 0.82 housing to boot...hmmm...
I think he actually chose a GTK 450 and not a GT30R. I'm not very familiar with the GTK stuff yet.

glad to hear as well.

It's unfortunate that a few of the most passionate Lotus fans can no longer participate on this forum, but that's how it goes sometimes I guess, and I'm sure they were warned repeatedly.

I joined after the Frank/Ronin era here, didn't know anything about him but saw his car in the shop and was blown away and wondered why a guy like that wasn't on the board here. (then got the basic story).
I have no doubt tho that his turbo endeavor will rock.

But I gotta say, the signal-to-noise ratio has significantly improved noticeably and significantly since Loanshark was banned!
(tho he was less passionate about Lotus, and more passionate about talking about himself I'd say)

Wow, looking good so far! He's definitely done his homework from the pictures i saw on his thread.

Unfortunatley, he'll still probably hear the psshhh sound even though he's recirculating his BOV since he has metal IC piping and if he decides to run an open element intake. Won't be as loud as vent to atmosphere, but it'll still be there :P

damn, that's a sexy intake and exhaust manifold... Is he going to tap the exhaust manifold and put in a EGT sensor in there while its still out of the car?

If he ever max's the turbo he's using, he should upgrade to something like this

I remember the last time I was in high school. The other high school was "chocolate-inflammatory" and we were "primrose-ruffled". I started a rumor about some of the kids doing illegal drugs like "rap" and then we started "frontin'" for fun. I love turbos and booze. Lots and lots of turbos.

No, seriously, I love you guys.
