My BWR with the PES tune passed Japanese smog so I think you'll probably be ok... Only way to tell it to try.. Insure the engine is fully warmed up and run it out a bit and get the CAT good and hot prior to having it checked.

What state are you in?

If it is California, you should fail the visual inspection, as you would in other states that also have a visual inspection. The BWR SC kit is not CARB approved.

+1 You should fail visual in any state but everyone knows cali is extra tight. I think if runs good enough to pass the sniffer if you have a cat. If your gonna try get the cat really hot. Drive it on the freeway for 20 minutes before smoging.

in washington state on obd 2 cars they just plug into the diagnostic port.if you have no fault codes you pass.there is no visual inspection.plus they dont test cars less than 5 years old.

If you're in CA, take it to a smog station and explicitly ask for a "Pre-smog". They will test your car without sending the emissions data to the state's computers. That way you know where you stand before submitting data to the state. This will cost you the regular fees they charge though.

Regarding visual inspections, take it to a smog station where they don't speak english well and have some cash on hand...
