TVS BOE blower fuel management

Hi all,

I am curious about this supercharger kit. It seems that it has standalone engine management, and this is something I have always associated more with the bleeding edge than with a reliable roadgoing car.

How does standalone handle integrating with all the other lotus systems?
How does it handle vvti? Spark? Traction Control?
How does standalone react when emissions testing is done through the obdII port?

Is it possible to get a TVS kit without the standalone ecu and have someone flash a tune for it? Seems to me that would cost less and be more compatible with a street car that needs to meet emissions... Here, basically, as long as OBDII is happy, you pass.

Anyone have any thoughts? maybe i'm totally misunderstanding what is being done, I'd love to have my concerns shown to be groundless.

gm

I believe that Charlie has stated that he's not going to do a tune for the TVS. That's your main reflash option. So alternatively you have to go standalone to run it. Correct me if I'm wrong Charlie...

There may be a flash in the future last I heard, but I think there's a very limited amount of tuners around capable of doing the job, so I wouldn't be optimistic.

that's important in pennsylvania. they do the OBD2 port thing.
if i could figure a way around that,i'd lean toward the BOE setup.
