Ya I chronicled that in the install thread. The supercharger didnt come over far enough so the pulley intially rubbed like mad on the bracket.

Doh. Sorry for being captain obvious
I would imagine that rubbing had a lot to do with that keyway issue. Did you end up resolving the issue with the rubbing?The other options are that the there was no key in there to begin with or the pulley was very loose? Although you mentioned that the nut was tight, right? One thing that is near certainty is that the key didn't just fall apart due to "normal" wear and tear. I'm not implying that you did anything wrong, FWIW. I'm just protecting the key itself. It wasn't his fault ![]() Best, Phil
