Ok... So last fall I'm at Autobahn, playing with Char. South track, trying to find a better way around turn 1/2 - the large-ish hairpin at the end of the front straight. I didn't think I was getting enough power out of the exit... So I'm trying different approaches/lines. Between the exit of that corner and the next left hander, turn 3 (where you can usually apply a lot of power), you've got a nice bit of straight where you can let the car settle. Well, what ever screwy line I had out of 1/2 didn't give me enough time to settle the car before three - but the right foot/brain combo said "what the heck, we can apply lots of power here anyway..."

Bad decision - back end came out, did a 360 in the middle of the track, but ending up drifting towards the left side armco. I ended kissing the armco at about 5-10 mph - but (luckily) hitting it perfectly parallel. So, not too much damage - could have been much worse.

Had a friend in LotusCorps do the fiberglass repairs, and now finishing up the paint work at Motorsports Collision - should be done towards the end of the week.

Ok, back to yer spotting!

My sister was in L.A. this weekend, and saw a flat black Elise on Hollywood Blvd., I think she said. Isn't that Serebo?

She also saw a GG Elise in Reading, MA tonight. At least she said it was graphite grey, anyway. Maybe it was STi.

Southern California --> Orange County ---> Irvine

Just spotted GG Elise on Jamboree in Irvine close to 9pm. You turned right on Trevino. Had alumni license plate frame. I was behind you in the Carrera coming home from dinner.

Orange Elise in far right lane. You passed the 17th St exit at 8:30am. I don't think you saw me coming up behind you in the exit lane...

You had the the top off, and some cool looking black wheels.

Deer Park Ave. this morning on Long Island in NY. Chrome Orange with a black wing.

My co-worker walks into the door and said to me: "I almost made a fool out of myself. I was driving down Deer Park Ave on the way to work and thought I saw you. When I pulled up it was a different person. He had a 'fin' on the back of his car that's taller than the roof."

I laughed. I take it she means a wing. But anyway, I think I saw you once before too while going home taking the long way on Deer Park Ave.

Anyone here?

Yes, it was around 2pm. It looked gray to me but I was across the street and could have been silver.

Yellow Esprit V8 Downtown Houston Parked outside a "Loft" near the jails and courthouses on the street with Florida plates..

Front end lip damage, and hanging down a bit.. Car was dropped there last week and hadn't moved since. Looks nice but collecting dust/grime.. Need a garage to store it?

Anyone here? Take me for a ride?

Yesterday I was going North on 59 in Houston between near Bissonnet and spotted a yellow Elise with the top off. I caught up and the driver waved, but may not have seen me wave back since my top was on. I've had the car since October and this is the first time I've seen another Elise driving on the road at the same time as me.
