I'm actually looking to pick one up (soon as I sell my current 2 cars) to use as a daily driver till I get a Lotus next year.
If you don't mind me asking, how do Celica's last? I need something that is really reliable, and preferably not temperamental with basic mods, like exhaust and CAI.

Thank you for the interest, well asking how long a car will last is a bit general.. even a 2010 vehicle with no oil in it will last around the block. lol..
but a well taken care of celica so far i haven't seen any of which that have failed due to old milage... so thats a good thing. I'm guessing it would last well over 300k miles. I have a 1990 celica GT that used to be turbo and now its NA and its at 300,000 miles and still going. Celicas are very very reliable. I can almost guarantee that you wont find another celica as the same year and mileage that is as good condition as the one i have. |

Nice. I'd suggest some higher resolution pictures if you want to show how nice it is.
In terms of reliability... my buddies 01 Celica GTS has 305k miles on it now... runs great He bought it with 270k miles for dirt cheap and drives it just as much as the previous owner.

Sorry to go so offtopic, but is it the GTS that comes with that body styling?
I'm looking for this body styling: http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedi...004GTS-AP.jpeg But I'm not sure what the difference is between that one and this: http://www.canadiandriver.com/articl...elica_gts1.jpg I'm referring to the bumper and sideskirts. is it based on year(s)?

the bottom one is a 00-02 styling. Mine has the same front, rear, Similar sideskirts ( west wings) , and oem wing. I prefer a sleeker look. mine was the 01 styling, with the authentic TRD Actionpackage added on. |
