Saw one at the Dallas Cars and Coffee last weekend. It sounded AWESOME! The cup wheels require 500nm of torque!

I would buy one but... I can't afford one. But I don't have a cheater bar that big so that makes me feel better too.

I have loved thos center lock wheels aver since they showed up on the Garrera GT! I'm going to order a center lock nut to keep at my desk as a paper weight.

It is not coming to the US. And the price? It is more than a 997 GT2; this is based on its Euro cost in Germany vs. Euro cost of a GT2 in Germany.

It is basically the new DI C2S with the new (soon to be released) X51 package. Then it has the humps on the roof, the whale tail, a bit wider tires than a normal C2S, and a lot of options. What makes it really special is the limited number, but also the Porsche Design of the interior (and exterior). Check out the crazy design of the leather seats, and they use leather to cover every surface (or about 99%), I believe they use real aluminum instead of Porsches usual psuedo painted aluminum (aluminum look). Let's see, what else...standard PCCB brakes, sport suspension with LSD along with the PASM. And a few other unique items along with limited numbering and build plates.

In other words, mostly fluff, but with a few performance items that you can get on an C2S, especially when the new X51 package comes out. It costs about twice as much as a regular 2010 GT3 and will not match it in performance - no way!

I think it is like the California Special Elises from Lotus (or whatever they called them).

Porsche Design got involved which makes everything they touch expensive; like their cheap $10k Porsche watches or more common $50k Porsche watches!

Is the black GT3 in the original post still for sale? I would love to see some more photos of it - preferably outside the dark showroom.

It is available... They were asking an overcharge when it arrived but it is at MSRP now(thank you!). I sold two GT3RS' last time around at sticker so I am not a fan of hiking the price.
I'll try to get a few shots later today can you e-mail me so I can send the photos directly? (perryeyges@yahoo.com)
I can send you an e-mail with all of the specs as well..MSRP is $135,770
