FS: 2001 Z3 3.0i Coupe (Silver)
NEW PRICE! Paid off some of the car. $13,000 obo.
2001 BMW Z3 Coupe 3.0i 81k miles on it I've been driving it as is for almost 3 years now, but the last owner did a few aesthetic/non-performance mods: Stereo and custom sub/amp box in the trunk Z3 M steering wheel Custom mounted RCA jacks in the console Purchased used from BMW of Dallas with a clean history, no accidents since then Description of the bad (I'm being very critical, since I don't want anyone to be surprised): A small hail dent, probably fixable with one of those self repair kits, but I've been too lazy to do it. passenger side roof. (not visible in pictures, I tried) A scratch on the driver side behind the rear wheel A small chip right above the stone chip protector (irony...) Some paint damage on the bottom lip of the front bumper, from a steep driveway. a bit on the underside of the front of the car from this as well. The black lining above the rear hatch lock is cracked and a small piece is missing. The rear passenger side speaker buzzes a bit, sounds like alternator whine (probably needs new wires, or maybe just better grounding, although it's possible the speaker could be going bad, it doesn't sound like it) The outside passenger side door handle doesn't work, and the lock spins in place (the clip that holds the tumbler in place pop'ed off) The passenger side window needs new regulator clips (it goes up fine, but it starts to angle and gets stuck going down) Just had the tires changed two months ago, so they have plenty of tread Just replaced the front BMW emblem Asking $13,000 OBO. +1 for a great daily driver to go with your Lotus. The interior trim is easily changed if you don't like wood appearance.
2001-2 Z3 3.0 makes 225 bhp, only 15 less than S52 M Coupe. Hatchback configuration with built-in cargo area divider make it a great car for small-medium sized dogs too.
